JDP Physiotherapy specialises in Neurological Physiotherapy and Vestibular Physiotherapy. Neurological Physiotherapy is specifically designed for people with injuries to the brain, nervous system or spinal cord, whereas Vestibular Physiotherapy, involves rehabilitation for different causes of dizziness, vertigo and balance impairments. ​​

About Me
Jade Desai-Proctor
Chartered Physiotherapist, BSc (Hons), MCSP
I am a qualified Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ NHS experience.
I specialised in Neurological/Vestibular Physiotherapy in 2019, where I completed several specialist rotations in some of the top NHS Trusts.
I started work in 2014, at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; an internationally renowned Neurology and Neurorehabilitation Centre. In 2022, I moved to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham (a Specialist Facial Palsy and Neurosciences Centre), where I worked as a Band 7 Team Leader in Neurological, Vestibular and Facial Outpatients until 2025.

​I currently work in the local community running the Shrewsbury Parkinson's UK Exercise Class; and help to undertake classes for Neuro Heroes, an online exercise class endorsed by Parkinson's UK and the MS Society.
